- Shallow floors – overall depth 257 mm – Joists can be treated with IWS-FR (at no extra cost) to provide excellent fire mitigation properties (fully compliant with WPA Benchmark FR Build quality scheme). IWS-FR has a distinctive purple colour.
- Only engineered joist on the market pre-treated to significantly reduce water ingress. This allows it to retain its strength and straightness characteristics both during and after the build process.
FAST MgO Board
IWS-FAST® Board is dimensionally stable when exposed to moisture contents and relative humidity (RH) changes.
IWS-FAST® Board has been tested to BS EN ISO 1182 by Exova Warrington Fire.

FAST Chipboard
The tongue and groove FAST® Chipboard is available in 18mm for separating floor sub-decks or 22mm thickness for finished floor construction.
The base product, EGGER Peel Clean Xtra, is manufactured to the specification of EN312, is regularly audited independently, is FSC chain-of-custody certified and has been independently certified by the BBA (No.08/4585) as a chipboard flooring board capable of providing temporary weather protection prior to completion of the building envelope.
The chipboard has a reactive Hot Melt Polyurethane coating rolled on which when cured forms a FR barrier and creates FAST® Chipboard providing robustness against fire.
FAST® Chipboard has a weather resistant peel clean top surface layer, which results in a product that offers protection from moisture penetration.
